-Ivanon was traded to Chicago Cubs in 2001.

-After the 2003 season, Ivanon was a free agent and signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and played in the 2003 Baseball World Cup.

-In 2004 Ivanon signed as a free agent with the Astros and played on the Dutch National Team in the Olympic Games.
